Ever since I was a child I have loved airplanes. My grandfather was a bomber pilot in World War II, so I guess I was born with the love of flight pre-programmed. Something that has always fascinated me about aviation is aerophobia or the fear of flying. Not that I judge or cant empathize with people who fear flying, but internally it is such a foreign concept that I must make an effort to remind myself that there is a large number of people in the world who do not enjoy flying as much as I do.
