The Story Behind When the Universe Ends

I spend a lot of time thinking about and reading about the paranormal. I also spend quite a bit of time reading about cosmology. Put these two things together and what do you get? Crazy questions about ghosts and the end of the universe.

Something that I've been wondering about lately is, what happens to ghosts when the universe ends? Or even sooner, what happens when the sun explodes and envelopes the earth? Obviously, if you don't believe in ghosts the answer is simple. For those who do, the answer seems a bit more complex. Are ghosts energy, or do they simply use energy to manifest? If they use energy, will they become more powerful when exposed to more cosmic radiation?

As you can see, the deeper I've gone down this rabbit hole the more questions I've come across. I'd love to hear others' thoughts on the matter.
