If you want to survive out in the wilderness, you simply need a campfire. There is no getting around the fact that the fastest way to succumb to the elements outside is to not have a way to warm you up. Jackets and blankets can only do so much because there will come a time when you simply have to craft a fire for your camp. If you're a Boy Scout, you were taught how to make a fire at a young age. But for many of us, creating a campfire sure is hard. Fire, as important and ubiquitous as it is, is really hard to maintain and keep a handle on. How many times has a fire gotten out of control? Far too many to count. Yes, getting a fire going isn't easy at all. You need plenty of instruction and plenty of experience too. But once you have a fire going, you will not only be warm but will also have a way to cook food and boil water. And everyone knows that you can't drink water in the wilderness, it needs to be boiled and cleansed. Fire can take care of that. Fire can take care of so much! It's wild to think that it can create so many solutions - and so many problems too. Our poor little Taleas snowman perhaps got a bit too eager to make himself a campfire and now he's suffering the consequences of that. Yes, fires are no good to snowmen, no matter how cold they get. If a snowman gets really chilly, he should just bundle up and put on a scarf because a campfire is a perfect way to put an end to his holly jolly story.
