Being creative is one of the best things in the world. There is nothing like digging into your psyche, throwing normalcy and rules out the window, and just creating! It doesn't matter what it is - from finger paints to photography to an elaborate concoction in the kitchen - creativity is an outlet that it seems all humans need. Indeed, it's been argued that we all need to be creative from time to time. Some people feel overwhelmed by that concept and think that means they need to become successful painters or song writers. Not so! There are so many ways to create! Writing poetry: creative! Doodling during a work meeting: creative (just don't tell your boss.) Reading a new favorite book and imagining it in your head like a movie you're directing: definitely creative. See, there are many easy ways to be creative even if you aren't the next Picasso. But you need to keep in mind that sometimes things get weird when you're being creative. That's okay. In fact, that's good! The wilder you get with your inner creative spirit, the better. Embrace the weirdness, explore it, let is flow like water. The thing about being creative is that there is no wrong way to do it. So if you want to make something crazy like, say, a snowman that consists solely of three heads you should go for it. Don't let anyone tell you that you're doing it the wrong way because there is not wrong way. That's the best part of creating - you can't do it incorrectly. Side note: if you're actually able to make a snowman consisting of just three heads like the one we made at Taleas, our hats are off to you because that has to be very, very difficult.
