It's the taleas Endurance Demotivational Poster print, woo!
I print all taleas posters on high quality, photo paper. This paper is much thicker than regular, and takes color much better than regular poster paper.
Have you ever gone to the gym and worked out too hard? You arrive, you’re full of enthusiasm and energy, and you head to the closest machine and just start going wild. You lift more weights than ever before or you run further than you ever have. You’re killing it! You’re on fire.
And the next day, you feel like you’re literally on fire. If I have learned one thing over the years, it’s that you need to pace yourself and you need to know and acknowledge and respect your limits. Don’t push yourself too hard. Don’t go over the top. Find a goal and stick to it. Everyone has limitations, physically and mentally. You’re no good to anyone if you burn yourself out. The people who make the most difference, those who last the entire race and finish with the best times, are the ones who find a healthy, challenging pace. Heed my warning: if you push yourself too hard, you’ll push yourself right over a cliff.
Michael Jordan is considered the best basketball player of all time and one of the reasons he was able to break so many records and find so much success is because he knew his body - and his limits. Jordan and other star athletes and champions understand that everything is a marathon, not a sprint. Heck, even sprints are marathons and not sprints for Olympic runners! Okay, that analogy is a little confusing but the bottom line is that endurance is all about perspective and understanding and listening to yourself. It's not about wildly trying to push yourself to the limits. It's about being smart and pacing yourself and using your intelligence.
If you really understand endurance and your inner-strength you can find the sort of success that Michael Jordan did. Well, not the EXACT sort of success but close enough.
We have all seen motivational posters in a number of places. From bedrooms to classrooms to offices, it seems that everyone needs some motivation at times.
There is nothing wrong with that, sure enough, those posters of the cat "hanging in there" have helped a lot of people over the years. But sometimes you need something that is a bit more direct and frank. Sometimes you need something like the Taleas demotivational poster.
As you know, traditional motivational posters typically use white frames and black backgrounds with a centered inspirational image that is generally about teamwork making the dream work or practicing patience and endurance. That's not quite the route I took. Mockingly, demotivational posters use the same light on black format with either an ironic image and sarcastic caption or an inspirational image with a sarcastic caption. In keeping with the usual whimsical and cartoony Taleas style, I have decided to create a collection of cute, funny, sarcastic, and light demotivational posters in my own style. While it's a very stark departure from the expected format I feel like it presents the dark and sarcastic tones in a more lighthearted manner.
And who knows, maybe these can motivate you like the others. Sure, they don't have the same gentle, soft phrasing as traditional motivational posters but that doesn't mean they don't carry the same power. Sometimes you need swift kick in the rear end to get moving and sometimes you need a cynical and sarcastic point of view to put the world into perspective. That's exactly what you'll get with these demotivtional posters.
