The Story Behind Why So Happy

This comic started partly as an inside joke between me and one of my friends. It touches on a frustration that I have with people in general: we always want what we don't have and sometimes when we get what we want, we realize we didn't actually want it to begin with. Plenty of women that I know get a haircut only to immediately regret it, no matter how good it looks. I feel like we, as a society, need to help women in general see themselves as they are and let them know they're not being held to an unreasonable faux, airbrushed, half-starved standard of beauty.
