Illustrated by EEK.
Sometimes I think about how wild and weird accents are. From Australia to England to New York to my homestead of West Texas, people sound radically different even when saying the exact same things. But it’s important to not let an accent make you think in stereotypes. Don’t just assume the person you’re talking to is good at riding bulls because they have a southern accent. Don’t assume they only drink tea because they have a British one. And don’t assume they’re good with knives and building fires and wrastlin’ crocodiles just because they have an Australian twang to their voice.
People who need subtitles: Texans. "Howdy y'all did y'all go to eat at that outfit over yonder?" Subtitle: "Hello have you eaten at the local diner?"
