The feeling you get as the dessert leaves the spoon and rests meltingly on your tongue. The first scoop. The second. The third and fourth and fifth and…

Excuse me, I am getting carried away. The point is that ice cream is probably the most perfect dessert on Earth. No matter how warm or cold, what time of day or what meal you just ate, ice cream is always a welcome addition. The only problem with ice cream is that it melts. If only there was a way to really enjoy your time with ice cream instead of racing the clock to finish it before it vanishes. There are scientists across the globe working on so many troubling conundrums that plague our society but they should really spend more time creating ice cream that doesn’t melt. That’s the sort of endeavor our tax dollars should be going to.
