Every once in a while, I find myself in a situation where I feel like I can’t go any further. Then I come across what I believe to be the solution to my problems...but it turns out that things aren’t what they seem. Situations rarely work out like you plan, there are road blocks everywhere. Roadblocks and speed bumps and potholes and detours.

I feel that people shouldn't focus so much on avoiding problems but rather on fixing them. The real skill is how you overcome problems: how you pull yourself together, plan ahead and forge a path forward. Plan A isn’t enough, you need a Plan B and maybe even C. This is true whether you’re running a mega corporation, a tech start-up or even a webcomic. Sometimes you’ve got to work for it and sometimes that’s really hard.
