The Story Behind Mu Cow

Math. Everyone loves math! Right? Y’all? Anyone. Ha! Ok, I admit, I’m in the minority when it comes to math being a favorite subject. For me, math has enabled me to express things that I couldn’t really grasp otherwise. Are we there yet? Math. Is my house worth the cost? Math. What are some popular blues chord progressions? Math. What are the chances of...math!

Don’t get me wrong, math is definitely not the solution to all things. Psychology and general human relationships definitely fall into the “humans individually don’t follow mathematical patterns” bucket. Even as someone who is very structured and analytical, I find myself making decisions based on non-quantifiable things like fear, desire, and hope.

As much as I love math, it has its place. I feel like if you completely avoid math you’re missing out on a fantastic way to get a handle on the universe around us; however, if you let it rule everything you believe you’re missing out on having a very unpredictable and exciting human experience. QED.
